LEVEL: Open Level
The intensives are now formatted to ensure there are takeaways for dancers of all levels. The intention is to challenge and push dancers out of their comfort zone, while also providing tools that can assist each dancer in their personal growth.
-This training is not for absolute beginners learning their first steps.
An understanding of the basics is strongly encouraged and prior experience taking Salsa On2 classes is recommended.

Hips and booty movement is a powerful tool of connection and playfulness. This workshop is a bootcamp that merges the basics of hip movement in bachata with practice drills and partner dynamics to provide you with tools so you can start exploring your booty movement and playing with the music. 

In this workshop you will gain a basic understanding of: 
* tips & tricks and booty movement 101 
* playing with your hips to the music 
* combine booty movement with footwork 
* connect with your inner power and emotion through your hips 

This workshop is for you if:
* you are looking to improve or practice your hip movement.
* If you feel like when dancing you are having to think too much to bring out the hip flavour (especially when dancing with a partner).
* If you are looking to have a good time, spend time connecting with yourself and others and vibe with the music (bachata, merengue, reggaeton, R&B, you name it!).

Roots, Culture, and Salsa Education
Tap into the essence, flavor, and feeling of the roots of Salsa. 
Most of what we know about Salsa (its origins and evolution) is at its core, Cuban music and dance. 
Before Salsa rhythms, there were Afro-Cuban rhythms.
Before dance, there was movement.

To understand Salsa is to understand the deep, organic roots of Latin dancing. 
It's about developing the right technique and focusing on the foundations of body movement, expression, energy, and intention to breathe new life and meaning when we dance.

In this unique workshop, we will dive deep into the intricate layers of bachata musicality, using one specific song as our guide.

The goal? To move in perfect harmony with every beat, accent, and instrument. This isn’t just choreography – it’s about truly becoming one with the music, understanding its nuances, and expressing every note through your body. 

We will break down the song section by section, identifying the key instruments like the guitar, bongo, and güira, and crafting movements that mirror their energy.
